Maintenance Technician (WTB) Power Plant

Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Technician (WTB) for our Power Plant. You work in the mechanical team of the Maintenance department, together with Maintenance Technicians, Technical Specialists and Work Planners. Your main tasks are to resolve malfunctions of mechanical systems and components, and you do this according to established standards for quality, safety and timeliness.

What are you going to do?

• Taking responsibility for the W systems and components within the plant to keep the installations in optimal condition.
• Preparing, carrying out and solving maintenance work and malfunctions on mechanical installations.
• Coordinate, manage and supervise the work, both internally with colleagues and externally with contractors.
• Reporting and administrating work performed, hours spent and materials according to established formats and instructions.
• Translating work assignments into executive tasks regarding work methods, procedures, hours, materials and services, aimed at creating an efficient work plan.
• Active participation in projects, stops and revisions.

Technical specifications:
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with relevant experience in the maintenance of mechanical systems within an industrial environment. Knowledge of work planning, reporting procedures and coordination of maintenance activities is a plus.

We expect from our Maintenance Technician:

• A completed technical education at MBO level in the direction of Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the energy sector.
• Technical insight and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Flexibility and stress resistance, with the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Maximo is an advantage.
• You can handle yourself perfectly in English and Dutch.
