Project Engineer Offshore & Energy

We are looking for a driven Project Engineer Offshore & Energy for our client. In this role you are the key in multidisciplinary projects, where you are responsible for the coordination of the engineering team. In addition to supporting the project manager in the areas of budget, planning/delivery times and quality, you also take on the role of project leader for specific projects. You maintain commercial contacts with (potential) clients and supervise quotation processes for various projects. You make professional decisions at interdisciplinary interfaces and provide support in drawing up (multidisciplinary) specifications, specifications, contract documents and general terms and conditions.

What are you going to do?
Our client is known for tailor-made solutions in the field of offshore energy activities, with a proven track record in various projects such as offshore platforms, FPSOs, onshore facilities, and complex steel and mechanical installations for offshore applications. You may know them from projects such as the DolWin Alpha platform and the Sofia HVDC offshore converter platform. They also play a leading role in the offshore hydrogen production market, where they are, among other things, an engineering partner of the PosHYdon pilot project.

We expect from you:

• A completed HBO or WO education in a technical field, such as chemical technology, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
• Extensive experience in the offshore sector is a must, where you successfully translate this knowledge and experience into optimal designs and project results.
• Preferably you have experience in various technical project positions within an engineering firm, such as project engineer or lead engineer.
• Negotiation skills with clients and contractors are essential.
• You have good adaptability, since you can also work on location at the customer's location.
• An excellent command of the English language, both oral and written, is required.
