Senior/Lead Mechanical Engineer

For our client we are looking for a Senior/Lead Mechanical Engineer who is technically strong and skilled in designing multidisciplinary and complex projects. In this role you work on challenging projects for leading clients in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. From the initial idea to commissioning, you are involved in the realization of process equipment, package units or logistics systems.

What are you going to do?
Your tasks are diverse and include project management of monodisciplinary projects, technical coordination of multidisciplinary projects, management of design work within the department, maintenance of customer and supplier contacts, and implementation guidance. In collaboration with the department head, you contribute to the growth of the department and look for opportunities to expand the network.

We expect from you:

• A completed HBO or WO education in the field of mechanical engineering or chemical technology.
• Approximately five to ten years of work experience in similar projects.
• Organizational ability to manage multidisciplinary and complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to identify customer needs, tactfully compromise and get the best out of the team.
• Active involvement in the latest developments and the ability to apply them in projects.
