For our client we are looking for a Technical Specialist E/I&C - an accurate and proactive technician with a high sense of responsibility and a passion for technology and automation (DCS). As a Technical Specialist E/I&C you are constantly concerned with the availability, reliability and efficiency of the assigned systems and components. Your efforts and expertise serve as inspiration for others, and you continuously pay attention to maintaining and improving quality. A challenging and crucial role within our team!

What are you going to do?

• As a Technical Specialist, you are the point of contact in terms of expertise of the components entrusted to you and you perform in-depth failure analyzes (Bad Actor Analysis);
• You approach problems from various angles and develop innovative solutions;
• You independently engineer and implement improvement processes, taking into account quality, safety and financial aspects;
• You check the order reports for completeness and identify possible improvement points to bring the maintenance process to a higher level;
• Provides (un)solicited support to your colleagues with daily maintenance;
• You consult intensively with other departments such as business operations and installation management as well as with external maintenance parties and suppliers;
• You write clear reports.

Technical specifications:
The ideal candidate has experience with electrical engineering, instrumentation, and automation (DCS). Your proactive attitude and sense of responsibility make you suitable to inspire others in ensuring quality.

We expect from our Technical Specialist E/I&C:

• You have an HBO diploma in Electrical or Energy Engineering, Maritime, Industrial Automation or AOT, supplemented with specialist knowledge of and experience with Distributed Control Systems and PLC controls;
• At least 5 years of work experience in a technical executive position;
• Knowledge of the energy generation process is an advantage;
• You are accurate, show initiative, have a goal-oriented and flexible attitude;
• You quickly understand where problems lie and do not hesitate to solve them;
• You have a stimulating effect on your environment and communicate easily;
• Knowledge of SAP processes (PM and MM) is a plus;
• You know how to get by with (technical) English and German;
• You are a team player within a multidisciplinary work environment.
